Add a New Clinic User
   
 

Click on the orange NEW USER link at the top of the users table.

 

 

The following form will be displayed. Each user is required to supply a full name (First / Last) and an email address. The user should then pick a Username, no more than twenty characters in length.

Password: Select a password (also no more than twenty characters), and type the password in again to confirm. NOTE: Passwords are case sensitive; be mindful of upper and lower cases and caps lock when logging in.

Roles: Each user should be assigned a role, which gives him or her access to various areas in the Zoasis Back Office. These security roles are as follows:

  • User – This user is permitted to view, print, save, email or import lab results from the Laboratory Module, and view the purchasing catalog in the Supplies module. A user can also order lab tests or lab supplies, if these modules have been activated on the hospital’s Zoasis account.
  • Veterinarian – Assumes all rights as detailed in USER. You will want to set up all doctors in your practice with "Veterinarian" rights so that their name will appear in the Order Tests drop-down list.
  • Clinic Administrator – All USER rights, plus is able to edit clinic and user information.
  • Purchaser – All USER rights, plus is able to purchase non-restricted items from the Supplies module.
  • Purchaser (Restricted) – All USER rights, plus is able to purchase any item from the Supplies module (including restricted items such as controlled pharmaceuticals).
  • HealthyPet Administrator – All USER rights, plus access to the HealthyPet module for marketing and reminder.

License Information: Veterinarians and Purchaser (Restricted) roles are required to supply state and DEA license information for security purposes.

Click SAVE to store all information.
